    Queer the Vote candidates forum this week on Capitol Hill

    With August’s primary election quickly approaching, Capitol HIll nightclub Massive will present an opportunity Tuesday night for you to hear from some of the 27 people who want to run Seattle.

    The Queer Power Alliance is bringing a Queer the Vote candidates forum to the E Pine club:

    Queer the Vote – Seattle Candidates Forum
    The event is happening on Tuesday, July 8th from 5:00–7:30 PM at Massive Club in Seattle.

    Hosted by: Queer Power Alliance, TRACTION, Massive Club

    Co-Hosts include: QLaw Washington, Fuse WA, WA Low Income Housing Alliance, Gender Justice League, ACLU-WA, HRC-WA, Seattle LGBTQ Commission

    Confirmed candidates include:
    Seattle City Council – District 2: Eddie Lin, Adonis Ducksworth, Jeanie Chunn, Jamie Fackler

    Seattle City Council – Positions 8 & 9 (Citywide): Alexis Mercedes Rinck (P8), Connor Nash (P9), Dionne Foster (P9)

    Mayor: Ry Armstrong, Katie Wilson, Joe Molloy

    City Attorney: Rory O’Sullivan, Erika Evans, Nathan Rouse

    Ballots for the Primary Election will be mailed out this month. The election is August 5th. All ballots must be postmarked or dropped in a county ballot box by 8 PM. The top two candidates in each race will go through to appear on the ballot for November’s General Election.
