Mariah Carey Reacts On ‘WWHL’ To Ex Nick Cannon Insuring His Balls For $10 Million: “Lord, Help Me”

Mariah Carey was too stunned to speak when she found out that her ex-husband Nick Cannon took out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles.

The music legend made her grand appearance in the Bravo Clubhouse for Wednesday night’s (Oct. 1) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen put her on the spot in another game of “Plead the Fifth.”

“What was your reaction to Nick Cannon saying in May that he has insured his balls for $10 million?” Cohen asked, prompting an exaggerated eye-roll from Carey, who shares 14-year-old fraternal twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with the Masked Singer host.

“He announced this?” Carey replied, seemingly in shock. “Lord, help me.”

When Cohen asked if his privates are actually “worth” that much money, Carey refused to give him an answer. “I’ve got to go to the next question,” she said with a laugh.

After separating from Carey in 2014 following six years of marriage, Cannon went on to have 10 more kids with five other women, including Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, and Alyssa Scotta. In 2024, he revealed that he had his balls insured for a whopping $10 million.

“I had to insure my most valuable assets,” Cannon told Entertainment Tonight in June 2024. “Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’”

Carey, for her part, has openly expressed disinterest in speaking about her ex.

“I kind of feel like it’s best if I don’t talk about him, because he can just be in his own world,” the singer said in a September interview with CBS Mornings, per New York Post. “No offense to him.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
