Republican mayoral nominee Curtis Sliwa has launched his first TV ad of the campaign, showcasing his wife Nancy, who talks about protecting women from violent crime, The Post has learned.

Only Nancy speaks during the 30-second spot — part of a $350,000 ad buy by the Sliwa campaign, $250,000 for TV spots and $100,000 for social media.

“They say New York City is safe. Women know better,” Nancy Sliwa, a longtime public safety and victims’ rights attorney, says in the clip.

She talks about an increase in reported rapes while domestic violence drives vulnerable women and children into shelters.

“Curtis and I have always fought for women and will keep defending them because no one should have to choose between supporting their family and protecting their life,” she said as an adoring Sliwa, sans his signature red beret, looks at her and nods in agreement.

The ad also displays footage of the couple walking in the street with Curtis, founder of the Guardian Angels, wearing his beret.

Sliwa has $4 million in campaign cash to spend during the final stretch of the general election campaign against Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, incumbent Mayor Eric Adams and ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, both running as independents.

The ad buy shows that Sliwa will be a major factor in the outcome of the multi-candidate mayoral race, even if he doesn’t win.

He says he’s in it to win it.

“Women deserve a city where they feel safe on the way home from work, not one where danger waits on every platform,” Sliwa said of the ad. “As mayor, I will make women’s safety a top priority.”

Sliwa touted his “women-first” safety plan that includes hiring 7,000 more police officers and strengthening the NYPD Transit Bureau with visible patrols.
